Usyk and Torokhtiy: sharing of experience in weightlifting and boxing
Olympic champions Oleksandr Usyk and Oleksiy Torokhtiy held joint weightlifting and boxing training at the Olympic Base in Kyiv.
In an exclusive video interview, the legendary boxer told to Oleksiy Torokhtiy why he was moving to a new weight category, how he was preparing for a fight with Carlos Takam and why he began to engage in weightlifting.
When he was asked to demonstrate the strength of the punch on Torokhtiy, Usyk categorically refused, “I can’t hit you: we became Olympic champions on one day. By no means, I can’t! Moreover, I haven’t beaten people for free for a long time.”
